A hematopathologist's guide to best practices in clinical flow cytometry | 10:30 - 12:00

Flow cytometry has been an important tool in the clinical laboratory for over 30 years, serving as a building block for laboratory-developed tests used in the identification of markers associated with blood cell disorders.

In this session, join BD's Director of Scientific and Medical Affairs, Marisa Juntilla, as she discusses the following topics:
  • The contribution of flow cytometry in the diagnosis of leukemia and lymphoma
  • Diagnostic pitfalls in flow cytometry
  • The future of flow cytometry in the clinical lab

Standardization in flow cytometry made easy | 13:00 - 14:00

Historically, clinical laboratories determine instrument-specific settings and devise protocols to replicate the same output on other instruments in the laboratory. Those settings must be maintained day to day and over time to achieve high quality, reproducible results. These protocols are complex and the settings can be time-consuming to maintain.

In this session, join BD's Clinical Solutions Scientific Liaison, Abigail Kelliher, to learn about the new technology that allows you to easily generate reproducible results day to day and across different instruments, enabling standardization within your laboratory.
