Objectives:
Kristie Naayer RN, BScN, CVAA(C), VA-BCTM and Josee Roy RN, CVAA(C) will provide an overview of:
• The vascular access device options and the criteria for use as supported by the Canadian Vascular Access Association (CVAA) 2019 Guidelines
• Various patient scenario challenges are provided to give participants the opportunity to select the most appropriate vascular access device
