This course is designed for experienced users who can operate a BD FACSAria original/BD FACSAria II/BD FACSAria III/BD FACSAria Fusion with minimal assistance. We do not cover instrument operations in class. Note: A BD FACSAria III or BD FACSAria Fusion model will be used in class.
This class brings together many advanced flow users from across the US, so in addition to information from the class, you'll have the opportunity to interact and possibly learn from classmates for tips and tricks. BD training specialists will assist in leading this course.

- Gating strategies for sorting and analysis
- Calculating predicted yield and efficiency using Poisson statistics
- Techniques for sorting rare populations
- Small particle sorting
- Single cell and index sorting
- Hands-on practice sorting a variety of cellular samples
